what we do
Launch State based Youth Chapters
We partner with in-state allies to raise the resources and recruit emerging youth leaders who will run the chapter. Each new team plugs into YCA’s ready-made legal, compliance, and data infrastructure, letting them start voter-facing work, registration drives, advocacy, and leadership development, within weeks instead of years.
Equip & Scale Campaigns
While chapters build their volunteer base, we keep the back-end humming—finance, HR, payroll, compliance, cybersecurity, and analytics. That shared backbone lets local staff hire organizers, add digital and field capacity, and scale operations to meet the political moment across new campuses, neighborhoods, and online communities. Continuous training and a leadership pipeline ensure every chapter has the talent to hit ambitious turnout and policy targets.
Win Policy & Political Change
Chapters run year-round civic-engagement and electoral programs that move legislation, protect ballot access, and lift youth and BIPOC turnout in high-impact races. We track results in a common data warehouse, spread what works across states, and, after roughly two years, spin off chapters as fully independent 501(c)(3)/(c)(4) organizations with local boards, sustainable budgets, and proven track records—ready to keep winning on their own while staying values-aligned with the Youth Civic Accelerator network.
About Youth Civic Accelerator
Youth Civic Accelerator (YCA) is a 501(c)(4) platform that launches and scales state-based youth chapters committed to lasting political and policy change. We seed local teams with capital, training, and back-office support so young organizers can focus on what matters most: building power in their own communities.
Our mission is to build a robust, youth-centered civic infrastructure that empowers young people, especially those from historically excluded communities, to drive meaningful social and political change.
YCA operates a hybrid 501(c)(3)/(c)(4)/PAC framework that lets chapters combine voter education, advocacy, and full-throttle electoral work under one roof. We supply shared finance, HR, compliance, and data systems, freeing organizers from administrative burden. After roughly two years of capacity-building and measurable wins, we will elevate if chapter have the viability to spin off as an independent organization with local governance and sustainable funding, ensuring durable power remains rooted where it began.
